Go Cart Track Cairns, Australia

Jam the accelerator down hard, focus on the road ahead, forget using the brakes, and hold on for a thrilling ride. Skid around the sharp turns, work up the hills and fly down the slopes. Be careful not to slide into the barriers, but make sure you blow a kiss to the screaming spectators as you zoom past the chequered flag.

Go Cart TrackThere's only one place where mere mortals like you and me can do this: at a go-kart track. It would be wonderful to be able to do this in our own cars on the open road, but those nasty police won't let us. So get yourself to Cairns Kart Hire for a driving experience like no other.

The 450 metre outdoor circuit is located on the corner of Captain Cook Highway and Walkers Road. You can catch a bus to Cairns Kart Hire Track from the main bus terminal in Cairns city.
It operates 7 days a week, and the overhead lighting enables kart racing at night as well as during the day.

Drivers can have any level of experience, provided you are between 11 and 80 years of age and are over 150 cm tall. Double karts are available for kids who want to race in the same vehicle as their parents, or for those who are a little intimidated by the competitive nature of the racing and want a friend nearby.

The complex also has a double story clubhouse that offers snacks and refreshments, a seating area, games room, rest rooms, and free BBQ facilities.
